I talk a bit about art and Photoshop in this interview.

2010-03-09: 

I’ve built a new website, this time using Wordpress. Among other changes I’ve added this news section, where you’ll be able to see what I’m working on at the moment.

Some recent news to begin with:

• “Jarlen och kungariket” (LL-förlaget), written by Gudrun Wessnert and illustrated by me (21 illustrations ) is just published. It’s a book about Swedish 13th century ruler Birger Jarl. This year is his 800th anniversary.
• I did the cover for “Solstriden” (Rabén & Sjögren), the upcoming Swedish edition of Jeanette Winterson’s “Battle of the Sun”.
• I also did covers for two upcoming books by Kim Kimselius: “Boudicas strid mot romarna” and “Theos Pompeji”.
• I finished work on a computer game for Umevatoriet/UVIV, “Livet i en Vattendroppe”. It’s a children’s game about the microscopic marine ecosystem. I did concept art, some backgrounds and a bit of game design.
• And I’m featured in the latest issue (67) of “Advanced Photoshop” (three images and a short interview on a two-page spread). Check it out:)

At the moment I’m working on the following projects:

• The final book in Niklas Krog’s “Krigare utan minne” series (LL-förlaget). That’s a cover and 7 interior illustrations.
• A light-hearted book on physics, written by the people at Umevatoriet/UVIV. It will have 29 illustrations in total.
• I’ll also be doing a number of illustrations for another Umevatoriet/UVIV project on the marine ecosystem.
• And finally I’m involved in a very exciting independent game project called Norrsken with a bunch of talented people centered in Visby, Sweden.
